How to Park a dot tk domain at NameDrive?

In the Previous post I was talking about domain parking and its advantages. In this post I will give you a complete guide on how to park a free dot tk domain at namedrive for free.

Step 1: Creating a Free Domain.

Now you get Free Domain Registration window.

Enter the domain name you desire. But that domain name to be a successful parked domain it has to be some hightraffic keywords or some miss spelling often users make while typing in the address bar (for example gamil.com for gmail.com). Hi prefer good keywords which are very frequently searched for.(Eg:- AUTO INSURANCE QUOTE)

Click 'next'

Now you can check the domain you typed is available or not.
If the domain is already registered or it is not a free domain you can enter another domain and check.

If the domain is available you have to enter your email address and a temporary url to which you can use this domain redirect traffic.(For now you can just enter http://google.com or http://hundred-dollars.blogspot.com or what ever other site you have or you wish)

Click 'Next'

Now You have to enter your name and desired password the new tk account.
(Note down your password and the email you used to register)

Now you have successfully created your free domain. Let us go to the next step.

Step 2: Creating a Free Account at namedrive.

Click on the banner below to get the free sign up page.

In the page you get you can find a signup button on the top right corner Click on that.(If you wish you can paste the free domain you registered with dot tk in the box there then hit sign up button anyway you can add unlimited domain once you register a free account. Just sign up for now)

Complete email verification if asked.

Now you have successfully created a free domain parking account at namedrive.
Let us go to the next very important step.

Step 3: Step your free domain for parking.

Login to your Namedrive account.

At the left hand side you can find a link called "Add New Domains" , Click on that.

Now you find a page to add new domains. Just past or type the domain you registered at dot tk here and click 'Save and Continue' (Eg:- Freeebookdownload.tk)
(If you wish you can create a folder to manage multiple domains for now leave create folder option blank).

Now you can Set up your domain name as you wish.
Select a Category,Header and Template suitable for your domain.(Or leave to default settings you can change these when ever you needed.)

Now Click on "Save and Do not List to NDX Market" (Since this is a free domain you can't sell this but you can park or use. That is why I asked you to click on Save and Do not List to NDX Market).

Next is the last and most important step let us start.

Step 4: Setting the Domain to point the parking service.

Login into your dot tk account with the passwords and email address you used to register your domain name.

Find and "My Domains" option at the left hand side menu and Click on that.

Then you get several links under that.
Find the link "Modify a domain" and Click on that.

Now you get the list of domain Name/Names you registered with.Each with two buttons Modify and Upgrade.
Click on "Modify".

Now you get a page with name of your domain and a combobox with default option "Domain forwarding" and "Your referer URL"

Extend the drop down list by clicking on the down arrow and use can see three options.

There select "Use custom DNS service".

Then Click "Configure".

Now use can see two Text boxes generated below namely Nameserver and IP Address.

Now it is ready to do the settings.

Just type (or copy and paste)  "ns1.fastpark.net" is the Nameserver box (Without quotes) .

Click "Add another nameserver"

Now you can see another two boxes generated and old "IP Address" box is
Becomes inactive with a text "n/a".

In the new Nameserver box type "ns2.fastpark.net" (Without quotes).

Now if you wish you can add 3rd nameserver "ns3.fastpark.net" also.But it is optional.

Now Click "Next".

Then you can get a message with a green color font at the top "Succesfully updated changes."

That all you have to do

Mostly in 30 minutes you can see your new domain name with content and advertisements.

Add as many domains as possible and make sure all the domains you register are with meaningful keywords so that you get lot of advertisements listed for your domain name.

And also you can login to your namedrive account to monitor traffic and earnings. You can change templates anytimes you wish so try to add
templates which are relavant to your domain name. As gain more knowledge on keywords you can also add keywords for your site.Try to familiarize your self with
namedrive options and optimize you site and earn more and more earnings.
